ICE Geotechnical Research Medal (2016)
Award by UK Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE)
Our Publication «A simple equation for obtaining finite strain solutions from small strain analyses of tunnels with very large convergences» (Géotechnique, Volume 65, Issue 11) was judged to be the best geotechnical paper published by the ICE in 2015. Doctor Apostolos Vrakas and Professor Georg Anagnostou were presented the prestigious ICE Geotechnical Research Medal at an award ceremony at the Institution of Civil Engineers on 7th October 2016.
